A private grass strip at 3,000 feet in the French Alps. Unmistakably mountain. Entirely free to land on. One of the most visually spectacular approaches in French general aviation.
LFKK sits beneath Mont Aiguille with the Vercors plateau to the west and the Écrins peaks to the east. The runway's 7–10% slope gives it the effective landing performance of a 1,000m strip — and the approach, framed by alpine ridgelines, is an experience in itself.
